At Best Off the Shelf, we believe in crafting thoughtful, functional, and stylish pet accessories that bring joy to both pets and their humans. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, our journey began as a heartfelt response to a deeply personal experience, and it has since blossomed into a brand that celebrates creativity, comfort, and connection.
Our scarf line Ahhh Snap! Inspired by my beloved Boomer, was planted during a challenging time. Boomer developed high anxiety and depression as our family transitioned to empty-nester life, and my long teaching and coaching hours left him needing more attention than I could provide. With great difficulty, I made the decision to re-home him to someone who could meet his needs fully. This emotional journey inspired me to create a brand that not only prioritizes pets’ well-being but also honors the bond between pets and their owners.
Two years later, Ahhh Snap! was born. As a wife, mom, grandmother, and local high school business teacher, I poured my heart into designing handmade pet products that reflect my values of comfort, functionality, and inclusivity. Each item is lovingly crafted with you and your fur baby in mind. From fabric selection to product design, our mission is to provide breathable, practical, and stylish accessories while giving back to the community.
Our commitment to giving back is a cornerstone of our brand. A portion of every dog-patterned order is donated to a local shelter and organizations that make a difference in the lives of animals and animal lovers.
